Join our team. As a DevOps Engineer - ARE, you will build and run the delivery and infrastructure backbone that supports our applications and scheduled operations. You will work across CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, secrets management, and observability. You will build and own pipelines for image builds, publication, promotion, and deployment; design Docker images and registry practices; and operate Kubernetes workloads, including autoscaling, rollouts, rollbacks, and batch jobs. You will also manage declarative infrastructure in Terraform, administer Linux systems, and automate backup, recovery, and pre-change snapshots. Success in this role means reliable, repeatable delivery and infrastructure operations: credentials are protected and rotated, AWS usage is visible, and monitoring clearly surfaces batch duration, resource saturation, and failed jobs. You will troubleshoot operational issues, automate recurring work, and take ownership from implementation through ongoing operation.
- 1-5 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or cloud engineering - Strong Linux administration skills and shell scripting experience - Hands-on experience designing and operating Docker images, registries, and tagging strategies - Hands-on Kubernetes experience in a real environment, including manifests, autoscaling, rollouts, rollbacks, and batch jobs - Hands-on Terraform experience, including state management and reusable module structure - Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or a comparable system, covering build, image publication, promotion, and deployment - Working knowledge of AWS identity, networking, storage, container compute, and secrets management - Ability to read Python application code and use Python for automation
- Experience operating managed PostgreSQL and connection pooling - Experience building monitoring and alerting for batch duration, resource saturation, and failed jobs - Experience implementing secrets rotation and ensuring credentials are excluded from source code - Experience automating backup, recovery, and pre-change snapshot procedures
