As a Python & React Full Stack Developer, you will own Hireloop’s user-facing platform end to end, including the operational and reporting screens used to manage a dense accounting system and the REST API layer behind them. You will build React and TypeScript interfaces for rule authoring, balance enquiry, reference data maintenance, data-quality review, exception and approval queues, and financial reporting. You will also design workflows for journal entry and approval, including balanced-journal validation, maker/checker comparison, approval routing, role-based navigation, SSO, and MFA. Success in this role means making complex accounting operations clear, responsive, and reliable. You will work closely with the Business Analyst and Finance users to improve usability while owning frontend performance, PostgreSQL queries, payload shaping, caching, and the quality of the APIs that support the platform.
- 5-10 years of experience building and maintaining production web applications - Strong experience with React and modern TypeScript, including hooks, typed component contracts, routing, forms, validation, and state or server-state management - Experience building data-dense enterprise interfaces with large tables, server-side pagination, complex filtering, exports, drill-downs, and detail views - Production experience implementing server-side Python applications and REST APIs - Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, including writing and reasoning about queries used by application endpoints - Experience implementing frontend authentication and authorization patterns such as SSO, MFA, role-driven navigation, and permissions - Experience improving frontend performance through profiling, virtualization, caching, and payload shaping - Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience incorporating feedback from business or finance users
