Join our team. We are building something great. As QA Automation Engineer - ARE, you will own quality for a platform where defects can result in misstated financial records. You will define the test strategy and build the automation estate that makes correctness provable rather than assumed. You will shape the full testing approach across unit, integration, API contract, end-to-end, data reconciliation, performance, and regression testing. You will also own the automation frameworks, including suite architecture, fixtures, data builders, reporting, execution speed, and stability. Your browser automation work will primarily use Playwright, with Cypress or Selenium where existing suites require them. Success means giving the platform reliable evidence of financial correctness and operational safety. You will test balanced journals, trial balances, reconciliation, translation and revaluation, period-close completeness, batch replay, close repeatability, period controls, immutability, and RBAC boundaries. You will integrate quality into CI/CD through scheduling, quality thresholds, and flake quarantine, while using performance and volume testing to validate batch-window behavior.
- 5-10 years of experience in test automation, including ownership of test strategy rather than only writing test scripts - Strong Python experience for automation and test framework construction - Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation - Practical experience with Cypress and/or Selenium, particularly when maintaining or extending an existing suite - Experience designing and implementing API tests covering contract and schema validation, authorization, negative cases, boundary behavior, and idempotency - Strong SQL skills for building meaningful data-level assertions and reconciliation checks - Experience testing data and batch-processing behavior, including completeness, reconciliation, idempotency, repeatability, and boundary conditions - Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD, including suite scheduling, quality gates, thresholds, and flake quarantine
